About Liquitax

Quite simply, most Accountants give advice and plan on the basis that the company continues to operate. Very few operate from the perspective of (1) what if it fails or (2) what do we do now it has failed?

We are specialists that only complete work on cases that are associated with a Limited Company either in Liquidation or requiring insolvency advice. By specialising in this way we use our considerable experience in this area with one aim: to improve the outcome.

This means we either can turn around the company without insolvency [see www.secondopinion.tax] or secure tax refunds for the individuals affected by the insolvency of a company [see www.insolvency.tax].

Can my Accountant do this?

Many people are comfortable seeking a second opinion on a medical matter particularly where there is someone with specific experience relevant to the medical issue. This is a good analogy for the service we provide. We would not offer to be a general practitioner accountant as that's not where our expertise lie. We specialise where insolvency and tax meet. Additionally, our work may uncover a solution because of errors made by the Company's existing Accountant.

How long does it take?

The quickest we can usually complete our work is about 2 weeks but it usually takes around 4 to 6 weeks. Regrettably, HMRC is the slowest part of our service but we work to minimise their delays. We will work with you to ensure that the work is completed as quickly as possible.

What's involved?

The process to appoint us is fairly simple. Once you instruct us, we do all the hard work and review your circumstances in full.
